Implementasi Nilai-Nilai Wasathiyah Dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Negeri 5 SATAP Baraka

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the implementation of PAI learning in schools needs to apply wasathiyah values. This is due to the application of wasathiyah values. This is due to the application of wasathiyah values in PAI learning as one of the alternatives to the development of pai learning process by combining dogmatic-normative-doctrinaire approach, with scientific-contextual approach. The purpose of this study is to reveal the role of teachers in applying wasathiyah values to islamic education learning in SMP Negeri 5 SATAP Baraka and outline supporting factors and obstacles and solutions in applying wasathiyah values in SMP Negeri 5 SATAP Baraka. The type of research conducted is field research conducted at SMP Negeri 5 SATAP Baraka using a qualitative approach. The key instrument in the study was that researchers were assisted by tools in the form of observation guidelines, interview guidelines, mobile phones and stationery. Data collection is done through observation, done through 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion withdrawal. The results of the study are: (1) the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers applying wasathiyah values in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education at SATAP 5 Baraka State Junior High School: (a) teachers as evaluators, (b) teachers as administrators, and (c) teachers as motivators. (2) Supporting and inhibiting factors and solutions in applying wasathiyah values in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education in SATAP 5 Baraka State Junior High School: (a) supporting factors, namely parents, educators and subject matter. (b) Inhibitory factors, namely internet abuse, limited facilities and infrastructure, while the solution of these inhibitory factors is the provision of duties and cooperation of educators with parents.
