Abstract

Moderation has principles and characteristics that distinguish it from others, because moderation is a cherished rank, expensive. How is it not, and it is the characteristic of this nation, and the focus of its distinction among nations, as God made it one of its characteristics, out of His generosity and bounty (that is the grace of God that He gives to whomever He wills, and God is gracious (QS Al-Hadid: 21). Moderation is not confined to one of the particulars, or even to one of the pillars. Rather, it is an integrated comprehensive approach, which is not separated from each other. Islam is all in the middle, and therefore this nation is the nation of the middle. We can derive a specific terminological definition of moderation, that moderation is: the qualifications of the Islamic nation for justice and benevolence to bear witness to the worlds and establish an argument against them. From this point of view, the Noble Qur’an came as a prescriber for the method of moderation in the chapters on worship, belief, judgment and judgment, in the chapter on jihad, enjoining good and forbidding evil, and other chapters and fields. Whoever stops at the issue of exaggeration, estrangement, excessiveness and negligence, realizes that the nation is in dire need of moderation as a savior from this deviation, which has brought calamities and problems to it. There is no doubt that the Noble Qur’an has drawn this approach for us in its various aspects, principles and branches, belief and worship, manners and behaviour, conception and action. The method of moderation came through the Holy Qur’an in several ways, declaring and gesturing, detailed and general, telling and establishing, commanding and forbidding.
