The Role of Da'wah Through Public Recitation at the Inayatullah Mosque, Tidung District, Rappocini District, Makassar

Abstract

This research aims to explore the activities of preaching through public lectures at Inayatullah Mosque in Tidung Village, Rappocini Subdistrict, Makassar, as well as the role and effectiveness of preaching within these lectures. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection through library literature and field interviews. The findings reveal that the Public Lectures at Inayatullah Mosque are held regularly twice a week since 2022 until 2024, featuring discussions on Hadith Arbain Nawawi and the Biography of Prophet Muhammad delivered by a preacher. These lectures have positively impacted the congregation, fostering their journey towards righteousness and God-consciousness
