Analysis of the Content of Da'wah Messages in the Film 3 : Alif Lam Mim by Arie Untung

Abstract

This study aims to find out the general description of the storyline in film 3: Alif Lam Mim, to describe the message of da'wah reflected in film 3: Alif Lam Mim, and to find out the da'wah method used by the main actors in the film: Alif Lam Mim. With the formulation of the problem, What is the general description of the storyline of film 3: Alif Lam Mim?, What is the content of the da'wah messages in film 3: Alif Lam Mim?, and What is the method of da'wah used by the main actors in film 3: Alif Lam Mim? This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The object of this research is film 3: Alif Lam Mim which was also produced by a well-known artist, namely Arie Untung. Data collection techniques use video observation methods and documentation methods. The data obtained is then analyzed descriptively by collecting data and drawing conclusions which are then outlined in scientific papers, namely thesis. The study was conducted on September 20, 2023. The results of the study are known that: Film 3: Alif Lam Mim tells about how Indonesia in the future, with all its technological sophistication and also under the guise of being a country that evolved with peace and also provides many benefits in the field of da'wah, especially can be seen from the messages and also da'wah methods that are used as examples to help advance Islamic civilization. Among them there is a muamalah message about halal haramnya in seeking sustenance, a message of sharia, where as Muslims are obliged to perform the five daily prayers, because prayer is a pillar of religion, and also a moral message about sincerity in accepting fate. There are also exemplary methods, among them al-hikmah, i.e. we can spread writings containing truths against blasphemers, al-maw'idhah al-Hasanah, i.e. we can use quotations from verses of the Qur'an or Hadith of the Holy Prophetsa to spread Islam, and al-mujakan by directly fighting terrorists
