Da'wah method in fostering the morals of MTs. Muhammadiyah Tonrokombang students

Abstract

This research aims to explore preaching activities in nurturing the character of students at MTs. Muhammadiyah Tonrokombang, identify the preaching methods used in their character building, and understand the supporting and inhibiting factors in this process. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing interviews and documentation as data sources. Findings indicate that teachers employ various methods such as exemplary behavior, practice, habituation, drawing lessons, discipline, and fostering independence in character building. Supporting factors include conducive facilities and infrastructure as well as teacher integrity, while inhibiting factors encompass external environmental influences, parental neglect, and peer pressure. The study was conducted at MTs. Muhammadiyah Tonrokombang in February 2024
