Methods of Religious Guidance to Converts In Kampung Muallaf Pinrang

Abstract

This research aims to find out the profile of Muallaf
Village, Lembang District, Pinrang Regency. To find out how
the Religious Guidance Method for Muallafs improves the basic
ability to understand Al-Islam in the Pinrang Muallaf Village.
To find out the impact of religious guidance for Muslim converts
in improving the basic ability to understand Al-Islam in the
Pinrang Muallaf Village. The type of research that the author
uses is qualitative research, namely research that leads to more
descriptive and objective data analysis. In this research,
researchers used observation, interviews and documentation
methods. This research was located in Pinrang Muallaf Village,
for approximately four days, from Tuesday to September. The
research results show that the process of religious guidance for
converts goes well and has a positive influence on the faith of
converts. This can be seen from the converts' understanding of
the teachings of the Islamic religion, the increase in their
implementation of worship, the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of
the converts in seeking knowledge, as well as changes in
attitudes and behavior (akhlakul karimah) in daily life shown by
the converts. The role of the dai-dai is to provide teaching in the
form of ta'lim, be a prayer leader, teach the Koran and the basics
of Islam and organize funeral services. Including being a daily
guide for converts to Islam in solving various life problems in
the Pinrang convert village
