Preparing Resilient Generations with Hidden Curriculum Based on Multiple Intelligence in Elementary Level of Islamic Education in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0
Abstract
This article explores how resilient generations can be prepared through the adoption of a hidden curriculum rooted in multiple intelligences within Islamic education, set against the backdrop of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. This study conducted in elementary schools in Indonesia. It uses a qualitative approach and method. The type of research is library research; data are obtained from books, journals, and other relevant references. Then the data were analyzed by using content analysis techniques. The research investigates the integration of Islamic teachings with the development of diverse intelligences, encompassing spiritual, emotional, and social dimensions. The objective is to cultivate individuals who are well-equipped to thrive in a rapidly evolving technological and societal landscape. The finding indicates that the educators’ practical approaches in establishing an inclusive learning environment that promotes character development and the application of Islamic principles adopting multiple intelligence resulting 5 characters. The characters are discipline, religious, environmental care, creative and honest. The implementation of the hidden curriculum in shaping the character of students is carried out using habituation methods, teacher exemplary, local content, rules, facilities and also extracurricular activities. The supporting factors in the implementation of the hidden curriculum in shaping the character of students is the parents supports.
