Communication Pattern of Da'wah Coaches to Students at Hizbul Wathan Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School, Belapunranga Village Parangloe District, Gowa Regency
Abstract
This research aims to: 1) Find out the communication
patterns of supervisors' da'wah to students at the Hizbul Wathan
Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding school, Belapunranga
Village, Parangloe District, Gowa Regency. 2) Knowing the
supporting and inhibiting factors in the communication patterns
of supervisors' da'wah to students at the Hizbul Wathan
Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding school, Belapunranga
Village, Parangloe District, Gowa Regency. This research is
descriptive qualitative research. Data collection used in this
research is the use of interview guidelines, observation,
documentation. The data used is primary data in the form of data
in verbal form and words spoken orally, movements, interview
notes, observations with coaches and students. Secondary data
is data that has been arranged in the form of documents, and the
data obtained already exists such as books, journals, internet,
papers and other data that can be used as a reference. Data
analysis is systematically organizing material from interviews
and observations, interpreting it and producing new thoughts,
opinions, theories or ideas. The results of the research show: 1)
The communication pattern of supervisory da'wah that occurs at
the Hizbul Wathan Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding school is
a da'wah communication pattern with a two-way approach
between the supervisor and the students and the students and the
supervisor. The application of the da'wah communication
pattern carried out by the supervisor is to apply verbal and non
verbal, primary and secondary, da'wah communication patterns.
This da'wah communication pattern produces feedback between
the supervisor and the students as well as the students and the
supervisor. The supervisor's da'wah communication pattern is carried out through good methods based on the Al-Qur'an and
Al-Hadith. 2) Supporting factors for the supervisor's da'wah
communication, namely the support of the boarding school
leadership for the existence of the supervisor as the musyrif of
the Islamic boarding school, the authority given by the Islamic
boarding school which is very effective which is carried out by
the Supervisor, the rules set by the Islamic boarding school in
accordance with the work program set by the Islamic boarding
school, the existence of cooperation Both parents and
supervisors, students easily receive advice and guidance from
supervisors. The factors inhibiting the communication of da'wah
from supervisors to students are that some students are not aware
of the importance of implementing existing rules in the
dormitory and in the Islamic boarding school environment in
general, the implementation of sanctions against students who
have problems is not yet effective, some parents do not pay
enough attention to students and companions who In Islamic
boarding schools, there are influences outside the Islamic
boarding school environment that influence the learning
environment of students at the boarding school.
