Implementation Of Strategic Management At Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Mts) Ujungloe Charity, Bulukumba
Abstract
Strategic management is essentially choosing the best
alternative strategy for an organisation or institution in a matter
to support the organisation's business movement. Or a process
of planning for the future either short term or long term as an
effort to deal with. This study aims to obtain an overview and
describe 1) the implementation of strategic management at MTs
Badan Amal Ujungloe and 2) the supporting and inhibiting
factors in the implementation of strategic management at MTs
Badan Amal Ujungloe. This research uses qualitative research
methods. The source of data comes from the head of madrasah,
deputy head of madrasah, head of administration, committee
and teachers. Data collection methods used observation,
interviews and documentation. The results showed that the
implementation of strategic management at MTs Badan Amal
Ujungloe Bulukumba Regency has gone well. These results are
evident through the analysis of the internal and external
environment as a strategy in advancing the school using SWOT
Analysis. Furthermore, determining policies by formulating
problems that have been presented by all participants in the
meeting and then determining strategies. Then, human resources
carry out their duties according to their expertise and abilities
through training and development. In short, the leadership of the
principal of MTs Badan Amal Ujungloe strongly prioritises
tolerance and deliberation in every activity in the madrasah.
Various inhibiting factors faced by the school, such as the lack
of student achievement and school competition with other
schools that are close together, require creativity and innovation
from the principal to address these obstacles through the
formulation of strategies, policies and appropriate decisions
based on consensus with the school academic community by
maximising the role of the school committee.
