Competency Analysis of Arabic Language Teacher Professionalism at MTs Muhammadiyah Lempangang

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: to know the Professional Competence of Arabic Language Teachers and what are the obstacles and advantages of the professionalism of Arabic language teachers at Mts muhammadiyah lempangang kec bajeng kab gowa. The type of research used is qualitative research. The source of data in the study is the arabic language education  teacher. The research instruments used are observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are word reduction techniques, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study prove that the professional competence of Arabic teachers Mts muhammadiyah lempangang already professional and already meet the criteria of professional
competence. Arabic teacher Mts muhammadiyah lempangang has the ability to competently master the material, structure, concepts and scientific mindset that supports the subjects. Professional competence is also seen through the ability of teachers to develop creative learning, fun and the use of media, strategies and methods appropriate to the learning material taught.
Inhibiting Factors and Excellence of professionalism of Arabic teachers in Mts muhammadiyah lempangang kec bajeng kab gowa less interest of students in learning Arabic so as to make teachers should be more maximal in teaching and teachers should use creative learning methods and media so that students' learning interests increase. As for the advantages of professional teacher
competence, “guru has a good professionalism that creates a conducive, creative, effective and fun learning atmosphere and is able to increase student motivation optimally.
