ANALYSIS OF THE CREATIVITY OF ARABIC TEACHERS IN CREATING AN EFFECTIVE TEACHING AND LEARNING SITUATION AT MTS AS'ADIYAH DAPOKO, BANTAENG REGENCY

Abstract

This research refers to two main problems, namely: 1) how to analyse the creativity of teachers in creating effective teaching and learning situations at Mts As'adiyah Dapoko; 2) how the supporting or inhibiting factors of Arabic language teachers in creating effective teaching and learning situations at Mts As'adiyah Dapoko. The purpose of this study is to analyse the creativity of Arabic language education teachers in creating effective teaching and learning situations. This type of research is qualitative research, the data collection techniques used in this research are, observation, interview and documentation. the research includes planning, observation, action implementation, and reflection. The data obtained were analysed with qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study concluded that the creativity of teachers in creating effective teaching and learning situations at MTS As'adiyah Dapoko is good but not optimal and has not fulfilled the indicators of teacher creativity, namely fluent thinking skills, flexible thinking skills, original thinking skills, detailing skills, and evaluating skills. The inhibiting factors for teachers in creating effective teaching and learning situations are different student characteristics and inadequate facilities so that teachers are limited in carrying out the teaching and learning process. While the supporting factors for teacher creativity are that the school always opens space and facilitates for teachers who want to improve their creativity such as MGMP (Arabic subject teacher meetings).
