The Role of Youtobe Social Media in Learning Arabic as the Main Cornerstone of Islamic Education

Abstract

The Qur'an and Hadith are the main guidelines for Muslims, especially in Islamic education. Arabic has an important role in understanding Islamic Education, because the Qur'an and Hadith are written using Arabic and by understanding it, humans can not only communicate with Arabic but also understand and practice the content of the Qur'an and Hadith. In this modern era, various media have been prepared so that humans can more easily understand many things, especially in learning and understanding Arabic. One of these media is Youtube which is an interesting and easy-to-understand audiovisual media. The purpose of this study is to understand more deeply the privilege of Youtube in helping the Arabic learning process as the main foundation in Islamic Education. This research is in the form of literature research or called Library Research. The approach used is descriptive analysis. The main results in this study are the privileges of youtube are 1. Informative 2. Cost Effective. 3. Potential. 4. Practical and Complete. 5. Shareable. 6.Interactive. 7. Have various kinds of channels related to learning Arabic such as Darul Arabiy, Arabiyah Talks, Arabic Lughoti and Adaby Chanel which present learning videos in the form of cartoon animations that are interesting and contain Islamic education values. The conclusion of this study is that Youtube is a form of the development of the times in the world of Education, this media is very helpful in increasing students' interest in learning and understanding, especially in learning Arabic, where students can not only understand the language but also understand the values of Islamic Education contained in it
