Abstract - The word (وسط) appears in the Qur’an in several places, with its multiple conjugations, as it appears as Wasta, Wasta, Wusta, Wusta, and Wasta. The best beginning to clarify the Qur’anic approach in deciding moderation is to stand with the Al-Fatihah, as she, from beginning to end, establishes and confirms this fact. But the most prominent verse in it that speaks of this is the Almighty’s saying: (Guide us to the straight path) (Al-Fatihah: 6) and this verse is explicit in defining the middle method, because it is clear that this path is the path of those whom God has blessed. Al-Tabari said: All the scholars of interpretation have agreed that the straight path is the clear path that does not distort it. God has made it clear to us that the straight path is the middle path. And then righteousness means moderation, as illustrated by the verse of Al-Fatihah. There are several verses that call for righteousness in multiple ways and close words, and it revolves between the predicate and the creation. From this point of view, and after it was decided that the path of righteousness is the path of the middle nation, every verse mentioned in righteousness is a sign in achieving moderation and calling for it. In summary: when looking at any matter to determine its relationship to moderation and how close or far from it it is necessary to carefully consider the reality of this matter without limiting it to its appearance only, then to which of these foundations is closer, taking into account several matters and all of them are based on the rules legitimacy and methodological controls. If it becomes clear that it is close to the straight path, it is within the moderation.
