Abstract

Abstract - Moderation in legislation, rules and rulings in terms of accepting change and not, making some of them fixed and cannot change with the change of times and places, such as beliefs, worship, and morals. Islam cannot accept any change in this field in any way, and made it what accepts change according to the legal rules and what is commensurate with them according to the change of time and place. The message of Islam is based on mediation between the world of spirit and matter, and does not depend in the rules and principles of life on emotion and feelings, nor on legislation and discipline. Islam is also distinguished by its moderate position in the field of belief, morals, legislation and worship. It should be noted that moderation in worship is the origin and not an exception, as all the obligatory or superfluous acts of worship and their differences such as fasting, zakat, pilgrimage, purification, prayer, and others, all share ease and tolerance, and avoidance of exaggeration and strictness in themselves, and that it is easy to perform. The Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - used to order his companions to mediate in worship, and forbid them to go to extremes and extremism in it, as some of them thought that perfection of worship is achieved with extreme hardship, so the Messenger of God corrected this concept for them and explained to them the moderation approach in worship. One of the examples that indicate the universality of the message of Islam is the coming up of principles and values that transcend the human being and exalt him without looking at any differentiation between one human being and another.
