PERSUASIVE APPROACH OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TEACHERS IN IMPROVING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS TEACHERS

This study aims to determine the persuasive approach of Islamic religious education teachers in improving the practice of Islamic religious teachings in students at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkajene, knowing the improvement in the practice of Islamic teachings students at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkajene, knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors of Islamic religious education teachers in implementing this approach. Persuasive in improving the practice of Islamic teachings of students in SMP Negeri 1 Pangkajene. This type of research uses qualitative methods, all primary data needed in this study were obtained through the main instruments in the form of Observation, Interview and Documentation used to complete the required data. Then the data that has been collected is processed and analyzed. The object of this research is Islamic religious education teacher and class VIII student Andi Latenri Sessu at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkajene. The results of this study prove that a persuasive approach for students at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkajene has been applied by Islamic religious education teachers in schools. We can see this in the guidance of a teacher who gives students an understanding of religious values so that students can practice them well. The improvement of students' practice of Islamic teachings at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkajene has been good. We can see this from the increase in the value of learning outcomes at the end of the semester by taking the comparison of the value of learning outcomes in semester 1 with the value of learning outcomes in semester 2 and taking a sample of 4 students. The supporting factors for Islamic religious education teachers in applying a persuasive approach in improving the practice of Islamic religious teachings in students at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkajene are: education in the family environment and education in the school environment. The inhibiting factors are: the environment and technological progress.
